Influencer Clavicular charged with rape in Massachusetts

Influencer and streamer Braden Peters, better known by his pseudonym Clavicular, has been charged with rape in the U.S. state of Massachusetts.

Independent U.S. outlet The Bulwark was the first to report the charges, which other outlets have linked to a previous case filed in Miami, Florida.

TDA has viewed legal filings from 8 September which show Peters facing charges of rape, drugging someone with the intent to sexually assault them, and buying alcohol while underage.

Peters is a leading ‘looksmaxxer’ who livestreams on the Australian-owned platform Kick.

‘Looksmaxxing’ is an online trend where young people, particularly men, try to improve their physical appearance.

Peters came to mainstream attention in late 2025 and early 2026, after a series of livestreamed incidents, including one where he injected a 17-year-old girl with a cosmetic peptide.

Over the past year, Peters has faced several criminal allegations, including that he was in a bar with drugs and a fake ID (charges were dropped), and that he incited a fight between two women and posted a video of it (charges were dropped).

Peters also allegedly fired a gun in public (he accepted a plea deal and is currently on probation).

In April, the girl Clavicular had injected on the November livestream filed a lawsuit against him in Miami, Florida.

Aleksandra Mendoza alleged that in May 2025, while she was still underage, Peters paid for an Uber to take her to his parents’ house in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
