“Cruel and inhumane treatment” contributed to First Nations woman dying in custody

This week a Victorian coroner found the death of proud Gunditjmara, Dja Dja Wurrung, Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta woman Veronica Nelson, who died in custody in 2020, could have been prevented.
