How a pilot tried to hijack an Israel-bound plane

On Wednesday morning, a co-pilot on a flight to Israel stabbed the other pilot in an apparent attempt to crash the plane. The aircraft then dropped more than 17,000 feet in less than two minutes. Passengers and crew members managed to get into the cockpit and subdue the alleged attacker – in a move that Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said avoided a 9/11-style disaster.
