Women’s World No. 1 tennis player Ash Barty has announced she is retiring from tennis at the age of 25.
She made the announcement in a video on her Instagram page.
“I am so thankful for everything this sport has given me and leave feeling proud and fulfilled,” she said.
Barty said she would speak further about her decision at a press conference tomorrow.
