Several countries including the U.S. and Japan will require COVID tests for travellers from China. It comes after China announced an easing of travel restrictions, effective from 8 January. The U.S. will require a negative test to enter the country. Japan will test travellers upon arrival and require quarantine for positive cases. India, Malaysia, Italy and Taiwan have also imposed restrictions.
