Qantas is the safest airline in the world for 2023, according to the annual list published by safety grading website Airline Ratings.
The rating system takes into account things like pilot training, the number of serious accidents and fleet age. It said Qantas is “now accepted as the industry’s most experienced airline”.
It comes after a turbulent year for Qantas, who have been criticised for flight delays, baggage handling and pricing amidst the return to travel.
