The withdrawn fines account for just over half of all COVID-related fines issued in NSW since the start of the pandemic.

Anyone who has paid a fine that’s now been withdrawn will receive a refund or a credit to pay off any other debts to the NSW Government.

Other consequences related to a fine, such as driver’s licence restrictions, will also be dropped.
