Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios has been provisionally suspended from all tennis competitions after returning a positive test for cocaine.
The 31-year-old said in a statement on his Instagram that he made a “huge mistake and [he] takes full responsibility for it”.
“Above all, I’m sorry to the kids who follow me. I know the example this sets, and I’m deeply disappointed in myself,” he said.

Kyrgios said the positive test had given him a "wake-up call", and that he would step away from social media for 28 days.
The International Tennis Integrity Agency says Kyrgios, whose world ranking peaked at No.13, could appeal against the provisional suspension but is yet to do so.
